This hospital is a maternity home setup by Dr. Mehta who was a leading Gynaecologist of his time. Ram Ek Dharmada Trust was formed by him and after his demise, his sister lady Kusumben Kania managed the trust and the hospital. She invited Conwest Jain Group of Hospital Trust to manage the same in 1980.
